Solid Ash construction, power carved and finished at 220 grit with two coats of danish oil. The seating surface is a removable/replaceable slip seat upholstered with a green twill

At the end of high school my mother moved to the Pacific North West and I quickly fell in love with grandeur of the surrounding forests and the species that inhabit them. Inspired by these vast ecosystems, I set out to create a bench mimicking naturally occurring forms found in those ancient maritime forests. Carved in its entirety, I present my mossy bench.
